Planning Division

Overview

The Planning Division is responsible for current and long-range planning and development review. In fulfilling that responsibility, the Division is charged with developing and maintaining two of the City’s regulatory documents:

These documents are designed to protect and preserve the residents' and visitors' quality of life in the City of Haines City.

Staff Liaisons

Planning staff also serves as liaison to the:

  • Board of Adjustments
  • Community Redevelopment Agency
  • Planning Commission

Each of these boards plays an integral role in achieving the goals set forth by the City Commission.
